Description:

I am using SSL and I cannot harvest my model from a mart: The Process cscript.exe failed with return code 1

Could not connect to the mart. Model Directories Component ! Mart connection failed

Connecting Failed WARNING: Mart version validation failed
Details:
Mart Server is not reachable, please check network and mart service health

Solution:

It was because the user was using an API license for erwin DM on the Web Portal host machine.  Once they were given a temporary Workgroup edition license they connected erwin DM to the mart server using SSL and that caused the certificate to download.  Once the certificate was placed into the store Trusted Root Certification Authorities (TRCA), the Web Portal connection to the mart worked.  The API license was put back in place and the Web Portal continued to work because the certificate was present for the SSL to work.
