In order to gather statistical information about your system by examining online and archived redo logs you can use sa_ocap utility. The stand alone Log Benchmark Utility has been incorporated into sa_ocap . This information can be used to look for historical trends and diagnose performance issues and configure shareplex. You will need to run it on the source database.
