ENHANCEMENT REQUEST - Intellirestore when restoring to a different server than source server

Ability to use intellirestore when backup files are accessed from an UNC while being restored on a different server than the one that created the backup files.

WORKAROUND

1. Create the restore script on the backup (Source) server, so that Intellirestore can list necessary sequence of files, copy and edit the script for the settings on the destination erver.

2. Manually write the restore script, listing the location of the backup files and the WITH MOVE parameters.

STATUS

Enhancement request CR95319 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of NetVault LiteSpeed for SQL Server.
