Expert Assist (Remote Management) install fails because antivirus is blocking it (4291132)

The Desktop Authority Expert Assist (Remote Management) client does not install due to the following errors in the C:\Program Files\DesktopAuthority\RSClientInstall.log: 

[05620] - [ERROR] - Set DA Remote Management GUI of the value of the registry subkey to remote registry is faild.

[05620] - [ERROR] - The following error occurred: Set DA Remote Management GUI of the value of the registry subkey to remote registry is faild. Details error: Access is denied. (5)

[05308] - [ERROR] - The following error occurred: Couldn't read value: fool_proof_flag from registry. Details error: The system cannot find the file specified. (2) 

  

A specific setting in McAfee (“Prevent programs registering to autorun”) blocks values from being written to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" registry key. 

Disable the “Prevent programs registering to autorun” policy.

OR

Add "DesktopAuthority.exe" as process to exclude under “prevent programs registering to autorun” in the Mcafee Client.

AND

Then delete the following registry value in order to instruct the engine to attempt the install again:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ScriptLogic, RMUpgradeFailed
