MMC crash during Online Restore Wizard -
Description
An MMC console crash may occur during the comparison phase of the Online Restore Wizard when "Generate Report" is unchecked and ChangeAuditor integration is enabled. This only occurs during an agentless restore. -
Cause
Even though "Generate Report" is unchecked, the greyed out check box for the ChangeAuditor integration causes an issue. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND #1:
Uncheck the agentless restore option to restore the object using the agent based restore method.
WORKAROUND #2:
If the agentless restore method is required, enable the "Generate Report" option and then uncheck the ChangeAuditor integration, then uncheck "Generate Report"
WORKAROUND #3:
Enable the option to generate a report.
