Toad for Oracle 10.5 and 9.7 freezes for 4 minutes when I go to Utilities | Automation Designer. I have many Apps and Actions (over 100) as well as Scheduled Jobs (over 20).

Resolution
If you happen to have created one Action per one App, and created Scheduled Jobs for those many Apps, this will cause Toad to slow down.
Please try to create your 'many' Actions in 'one' App and create the Scheduled Job on the one App. This should resolve the issue.
