In a data guard Oracle host, the logical standby failed to apply changes from primary database due to ORA-01775 (4289772)

When running the grant privileges SQL to create objects in SYS schema it caused "ORA-01775: looping chain of synonyms" in the logical standby database for a data guard environment.

The Oracle grant privileges script creates the views in the SYS schema.

In the customer's environment however the SYS objects are not replicated, this caused the dataguard to replicate the grant select on the views, and the public-owned synonyms but not the SYS-owned views themselves.

As a workaround, the grant view privilege was given to the Foglight user and then the views from the primary database were created in the standby database.

The public synonyms were then granted to the foglight owned views in the standby database.
