Interrupt storm on RSA (4288988)

On the virtual console of the Remote Site Appliance (RSA), there are messages stating:

Interrupt storm detected on irq18 throttling interrupt source

There are two ways to resolve the issue:

1. Follow the instructions on this article to change the virtual network adapter to an Intel e1000 adapter:https://support.quest.com/k2000-systems-deployment-appliance/kb/111351
   Many customers have also reported improved performance after changing the default VMware "Flexible" network adapter to the Intel e1000.
2. lf you have increased the number of virtual processors on the RSA, shutdown the RSA and change the virtual hardware to use 1 virtual processor.
