How to Enable Debug [Verbose] logging in MNE (4288609)

In order to investigate an issue further, Quest Support might ask for Debug or Verbose logs for the process being run in Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MfNE).

In order to enable Debug/Verbose logging carry out the following instructions:

1. In MNE, Select the Shared Directories option from the Left hand sidebar
2. In the Administrative Tools Section, chose the log level to be Verbose
3. Click on Apply in the lower right hand edge of the GUI window

Now re-run the process that failed with a collection to test.

Send the resultant logs to Quest Support in the manner requested.

• This might be via zipping it up and emailing it in to the case.
• If the log file when zipped is larger than 1GB (using the Chrome browser only for large items via the case in your portal), please ask for FTP details where you can send the file.

Once you have finished collecting verbose logs, please change back to the normal mode to save of disk space.

This change applies to all MNE hosts that share a database.  The change will not impact current running migrations on any of the MNE hosts.
