Solution:
1. Copy the attached "loglevel.txt" file into the Nalpeiron working directory "C:\ProgramData\erwin\Data Modeler\Licensing".
The plain text file contains a number 4, which specifies the logging level in the Nalpeiron library.
2. Reproduce the problem:
A log file (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.log) will be generated under the same working directory.
3. Remove the "loglevel.txt" file from the working directory afterwards.
