During the course of troubleshooting, a Support Engineer might request that you enable debug level logging for a Directory Connector that might have some issues.
The previous method of editing the config.txt file manually no longer applies to this version of CMN. In order to successfully apply the changes to the config.txt file that Support request you modify, one has to edit the Advanced Settings of the Connector experiencing the issue.
Open the GUI and Edit the Connector, Right mouse click and Chose Advanced options.
Locate the Connector you want to edit and Right Mouse Click [RMC] on it.

In the Advanced Settings, chose the Custom Configuration tab and set the Key and value as directed by Quest Support
The two Custom Configurations that need to be created are as follows:

Click on OK and Save and Activate the Connector. When you run the Connector the new value is added to the Config.txt file for the Connector.
This will create the debug log file that will be used in analyzing the Directory Connector issue
