How To Save an edited configuration file for CMN or NME -
Description
Occasionally the configuration files of CMN or NME need to be manually edited for unique requirements. Once the edits are complete the files need to be saved.

Cause
The files need to be saved in a specific format otherwise the program will not be able to read it.

Resolution
When saving the files they must be saved in UTF-8 format so that CMN or NME can read the file. If using Notepad, save the file by clicking on File /Save.
If you are saving the file with a new name and using File / Save As then make sure that the Encoding setting at the bottom of the dialog box is set to UTF-8
