In this What's New in 6.0 video, we will cover the enhancements made to Appliance Upgrades, the Upgrade Progress status page, and the Appliance Upgrade Log.
Before we get started, I've got a few pre-upgrade recommendations.
First, I always recommend reading the Release Notes prior to upgrading anything. Not only do we have some awesome new features, but we've also deprecated a couple. You can find them all listed in the Release Notes.
The PGM multicast protocol has been removed, leaving only the NORM option. PGM is not compatible with FreeBSD version 11, which is included in 6.0.
Another deprecated feature is the k2000.0 bootfile. You can watch our What's New in 6.0 - KBE Enhancements video for more on that.
Second, a fresh reboot, immediately prior to the upgrade
