Too Many Rows to Display

When running a ControlPoint report, you receive the following message on the report:

This report has more rows than the current row limit of xxxxx. You can raise the limit. You can also narrow the scope or parameters of the analysis.

The number of rows available in a live report has a maximum value to prevent accidentally running reports that are too large. This is managed through the REPCAP parameter. Its default value is 10,000 rows.

• Modify the parameters to further narrow the scope of the search/analysis.
• Increase the maximum number of rows returned by an analysis by updating the REPCAP parameter in the ControlPoint Configuration Settings list.
  1. Open the ControlPoint Configuration Site (e.g. http://servername:1818).
  2. Select the ControlPoint Settings list and expand the Actions and Analyses category.

     

  3. Edit the REPCAP parameter and change its value, as needed.

     

  4. Save the parameter.
  5. Recycle the ControlPoint application pool in IIS Manager.
