Method 1: Using the Pivot & Chart tab
1. Create the query from the Diagram window of the Query Builder
2. Run the query using the “Run Query” button at the bottom to return results
3. From the result set, determine the column you want to use the data as columns
4. In the Pivot & Chart tab of the Query Builder, drop the columns you want the data to show up as rows into “Drop Row Fields Here”
5. Drop the column you want the data to show up as columns into “Drop Column Fields Here”
6. Drop the column which you want to analyze the data in the pivot table into the “Drop Data Items Here”

Method 2: Export data to an Excel instance pivot table
You can also send the data in the Data Grid directly to an Excel instance pivot table by clicking on the “Export data to an Excel instance picot table” button. The concept of creating the pivot table once you send it to Excel is the same as the steps in the Pivot & Chart tab.
