Hyper-V Agents configured to use WinRM randomly stop collecting data. Logs indicate that Agent Manager server unable to communicate with KDC server.
When using WinRM as the method for data collection, there are multiple configuration settings that could potentially cause data collection failure if either misconfigured or not configured.
One of those settings is that the Agent Manager server hosting the agent needs to be able to communicate with KDC server (specified in krb5 file) over KDC port (TCP/UDP 88) in order to validate the credentials that will be used to establish connection with the target server to collect data.
