User has his Toad set to auto connect. When launching Toad, Toad throws the following error.
"Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window."
This issue is caused by three conditions in Toad.
1. Toad is set to auto connect to any database.
2. Object Palette is opened.
3. [SQL Modeler] PaletteStyle=1 has value "1" in the Toad.ini.
WORKAROUND:
please go into your Toad.ini (with Toad closed) located in C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\User Files or where ever you installed Toad. Open it with notepad and do a search for "[SQL Modeler]." Change PaletteStyle=0.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
