Howto set Toad to use a default Oracle client?
1. Disconnected from all session in Oracle from Toad. This is very important.
2. Open up the Connection Manager window. In Toad 9.5,it would be via Session | New Connection menu option. Please consult Help | Contents for where the connection manager window is for other versions of Toad.
3. In the Connect Using: drop down menu, select the desire Oracle client.
4.Checkthe Make this the Toad default home checkbox.
