User activity reports are blank when files are not being processed
Description

Reports for user activity return blank. Xml files that are generated do not get processed into the reporting database. They all go to the NotParsed directory in the ETLFileRepository. ETL.htm log shows the following errors:

Error in DAL: Run Procedure. Stored Procedure Name: 'UserSession_Activity_IU'. Stack Trace: 'The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "UserSession_UserSessionActivity_FK1". The conflict occurred in database "DAReporting", table "dbo.UserSession", column 'SessionID'.
The statement has been terminated.
Cause

Users may only be locking their workstations and are not rebooting or logging off frequently, causing user activity to become in a defaulted state, thus corrupting the user activity xml files.
Resolution

Schedule a reboot of the affected workstations. Once rebooted, newly generated xml files will be processed successfully.
