When I double-click any table in a model, the Column editor appears. When I double-click any column, the Column editor appears also. Why do I not get the Table editor when I double-click any table?

Solution:

Double-clicking the table or column invokes the editor that was most recently used. So if you last used the Column editor, double-clicking the table or the column will invoke the Column editor. If you last used the Table editor, the double-click will show you the Table editor.

Therefore, if you want the Table editor to appear, right mouse click any table and go to Tables... you will then get the Table editor.
