Title

Toad Data Point does not take care of empty spaces during Compare even if the Treat empty values as nulls is checked.
Description

When trying to compare tables in SAP ASE server, the option "Treat empty spaces as nulls" has no effect on the comparison.
Cause

Regarding the following document, SAP ASE stores empty string as a single space.

Resolution

This is a feature of SAP ASE database which prevents Toad Data Point to process the request as expected.

WORKAROUND:
Use Data Compare directly from the Editor. You can use SQL with checking/filtering values with whitespaces and do Data Compare with results

Enhancement request QAT-13475 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Toad Data Point.
