Spotlight Diagnostic Service is not starting after editing 44.xml -
Description
After editing 44.xml to disable extended events, the Diagnostic Server will not start. Reverting to the original 44.xml didn't help.

Cause
44.xml backup cannot be in the same folder as 44.xml edit. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION: Move the 44xml back up to a different directory not in the Spotlight Install directory.
Note: It is better to back the entire C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Diagnostic Server\Agent and label it with the Spotlight version than just backing up the 44.xml.
