Outlook hangs on Retrieval -
Description
Trying to open a shortcut causes Outlook to hang or go not responding -
Cause
The SQL Database logs may be too large and causing delays in querying the database. This will in turn cause Outlook to hang waiting for SQL and Archive Manager to send data back to the client machine. -
Resolution
Follow the KB below to shrink the transaction logs in SQL.
After the logs have been truncated, you need to restart the SQL Service along with all of the Archive Manager Services.
