ControlPoint frame hangs on "Please Wait" in version 6.0+
Description

The right-hand frame will not load content, pages or show reports. In many cases, it displays a loading icon indefinitely.

NOTE: This issue has been appearing in version 6.0, and only affects users with Internet Explorer versions 10 and 11 (confirmed at this time).
Cause

ControlPoint is looking for a cached resource that has been removed as of the 6.0 build.
Resolution
1. Open Internet Explorer on the server on which ControlPoint is installed.
2. Select "Internet Options" under the settings "Gear" icon.
3. On the General tab, click the "Delete" button on the Browsing history section.
4. Be sure to select ALL options, except "Preserve Favorites website data", then click Delete.
5. Click OK when the selected browsing history has been deleted.
