Cause
Environmental issues usually cause the StoragePoint solutions not to deploy.

Resolution
The general steps to troubleshoot the StoragePoint deployment issue are:
- Go to Manage Farm Solutions page (Solution Management on MOSS/2007) in Central Administration.
- Locate the solution (bluethread.sharepoint.storagepoint.wsp) in the list.
- Note the status – if all deployed successfully, it should say Globally Deployed. If it indicates an error or says Deploying, then something is probably wrong.
- Click on the solution and it will take you to a screen that will display more information about each server that the deployment happened on.
a. If a server is listed and has "Successfully Deployed" next to it, then that server is not the problem.
b. The problem server may be in the list with "Deploying" listed or may not even be in the list. - Once the problem server has been identified, restart the SharePoint Timer service (Windows SharePoint Services Timer on MOSS).
- Retract, then deploy the solution from Manage Farm Solutions page (Solution Management on MOSS/2007) in Central Administration.
a. If Retract is not available, you may have to go to Timer Job Definitions in Central Administration and delete any job that start with "Solution Deployment" (Window SharePoint Services Solution Deployment in MOSS/2007).
b. Then, try Retract. - If the deployment succeeds, run the installer and do a Repair install. This should complete the installation. If not, then contact Metalogix support.
