Notes Migrator for Exchange Console Hangs upon Start-up and becomes unresponsive.
The Console launches and loads the Project View but the statistics show the value of "Loading".

Cause
This issue could be caused by the remote SQL server hosting the NME40DB not being able to respond to the queries that NME uses to load the Project View or User Collections.

Resolution
it was found that such can occur if the SQL Server was running a backup and database integrity checks at the same time which resulted in the blocking of processes, terminating such processes resolved the issue.

Additional Information
It should be possible for a SQL DBA to determine if there is a performance problem by using a SQL Profiler to perform a trace. The SQL Server logs should also show if there are performance problems.
