PRV/PUB files are larger than the limits defined in QMM/EMW (4281286)

In QMM and EMW, the default size limit for PRV(mail) and PUB (Public Folder) files is 100MB.   You may see files that are larger than this limit (or whatever limit is defined) in the Service File Viewer.   Why is this?

This is caused by large messages in the mailbox or public folder.   The Mail Source Agent/Public Folder Source Agent does not split up individual messages.

For example, if the Mail Source Agent is building a PRV file and is currently at 75MB in size, and the next message it finds is 50MB, the resulting PRV file will be 125MB.

This behavior is by design.
