The Mail Source Agent and/or the Calendar Synchronization Agent may log the error:
"CMBMConn::GetEntry Warning 4812 Mailbox '[LegacyExchangeDN]' was not found in the GAL."
Why is this happening?
This could be due to several different problems. See the Resolution section for details.
1. Make sure that the mailbox can be seen in the Global Address List, and the "Hide from Exchange address lists" is not checked off in Active Directory Users and Computers.
2. Verify that you have full Exchange Org rights. Please verify that the service account has permissions to access the GAL.
3. This could be a problem with GC (Global Catalogue). In order to verify please run MFCMAPI on Exchange server and log into the mailbox that encounters this error. If user name cannot be resolved when MAPI profile being created try typing different GC name into the Exchange server field and click "Check Name". If this helps to resolve user's name then GC used by Exchange server is having issues. For more information on MFCMAPI utility please check this Quest KB article:

This problem could also be related to invalid characters in the LegacyExchangeDN. See SOL14740 for details:

In certain scenarios it has been seen that manually going into Exchange tools in target and then hiding the mailbox from the GAL and the unhiding the mailbox from the GAL rectifies this problem
