Description
When starting Resource Updating Manager 8.4 and above, the GUI flashes on screen and then disappears.

Cause
The exact cause is unknown but most likely the GUI is still open and just has been resized or moved off screen.

Resolution
Right click Resource Updating Manager in the Windows taskbar and select "maximize" or move, and use the arrow keys and mouse to move it back into view.
It can then be resized back to a usable size or maximized.
