Description:
After upgrading Mart Server to a later version, the Mart Service does not start from services.msc with the below error:
"Windows could not start the erwin Mart Server service on Local Computer.
Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified."
Solution:
This is due to the service having the incorrect Path to Executable. This can be confirmed by right clicking on the service "erwin Mart Server" and going into properties and checking the path to executable.
To resolve this, navigate to C:\Program Files\erwin\Mart Server r9\Tomcat64 and right click "Remove MartServer Win Service.bat" and run as administrator to remove the service and then do the same for "Create MartServer Win Service.bat" to recreate the service. You should now be able to start the service successfully.
