Why are the shortcuts: Create MartServer Service and Start MartServer Service missing from the Start menu and Mart Server Install Directory?
Answer:
When Mart Server is installed using the alternate Custom Setup options (figure 1); the options to use an existent Web Server files with the Mart Server are implied:

To correct this, run the Windows: Add Remove programs > Search for the application: erwin Mart Server <version> and double-click on it > Click the Modify button and make the changes in the Install Wizard to the following (figure 2):

If the Mart Server application cannot be modified, please uninstall and then reinstall the software using the default options.
