When I tried to connect to my database, I get the error:
"The PL/SQL language parser must have a rule named 'Toad_UserTables'. Please correct this on the Editor-Behavior options page."
RESOLUTION:
1. Close out of Toad - very important
2a. For Windows XP - Go to 'C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle'
2b. For Windows Vista and Windows 7 - Go to 'C:Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle'
3. Rename the entire 11.0 folder to 11.0_OLD
4. Launch Toad but when prompted for setting migration, select 'Do not copy my user files. Perform a clean install'
5. Try to connect and it should resolve the issue
Note: You can restore your original connection info if you want and password by the following method.
1. Launch Toad and make one connection - be sure to check 'Saved passwords'
2. Close out of Toad completely
3a. For Windows XP go back to 'C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle'
3b. For Windows Vista and Windows 7 go back to 'C:Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle'
4. Copy the following files from '.../11.0_OLD/User Files' to the newly '.../11.0/User Files' folder
- CONNECTIONS.ini
- CONNECTIONSPWDS.ini
5. Start Toad and you should see all your connections
