When dealing with a large file of abuout 11,200 lines, it takes about 15 seconds for Toad to even display my text on the screen as I type it.
Due to the background parsing, packages with large subroutines can cause Toad to parse large chunks and not respond to any other commands until the parsing is finished. This causes very long response times.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
