When Upgrading erwin Data Modeler to the latest version I receive the following error: Error 1315 (4279911)

Question: When Upgrading erwin Data Modeler to the latest version I receive the following error: "Error 1315. Unable to write to the specified folder <folder path>".

Symptoms: When performing the uninstall of the previous version of erwin Data Modeler the following error prompt is noticed after running the Uninstall Wizard:

Resolution: This is due to the "My Models" folder referring to a Folder path not local to the machine, but to a folder on a shared drive. To resolve this, back up the "My Models" folder to another directory (e.g. copy/paste folder contents into desktop) > Delete the "My Models" folder > Create a new "My Models" Folder in the same directory.
