Optimize SQL Option is Greyed Out in Spotlight on SQL Server
Description

In Spotlight on SQL Server, the Optimize SQL option is greyed out and cannot be selected when attempting to tune or optimize SQL queries.
Cause

The Optimize SQL feature depends on SQL Optimizer for SQL Server, which is a separate licensed application and is not included by default with Spotlight on SQL Server.

If SQL Optimizer is not installed on the system, the Optimize SQL functionality will remain unavailable.
Resolution
To enable the Optimize SQL feature, install SQL Optimizer for SQL Server:
1. Download SQL Optimizer for SQL Server from the Quest support portal:
  https://support.quest.com/sql-optimizer-for-sql-server/
2. Install the application on the same machine as Spotlight on SQL Server.
3. Ensure proper licensing is applied to SQL Optimizer.
4. Restart Spotlight on SQL Server.
5. Reopen the session and verify that the Optimize SQL option is now enabled.
Additional Information

SQL Optimizer provides advanced SQL tuning and optimization capabilities beyond Spotlight. A valid license for SQL Optimizer is required for full functionality. Both applications must be properly installed and accessible for integration to work.
