Cannot reinstall Recovery Manager database due to SQL error.

Users receive the following error when trying to reinstall the Recovery Manager SQL database through the Recovery Manager application install.

Error:

"Failed to deploy SQL database, error detail: ***SQL01268 C:\Windows\Installer\MSI4295.tmp-\Reporting Database.txt(40,0) .Net SqlClient Data Provider: Msg 5170, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Cannot create file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Servr\MSSQL10.QUESTRMAD\MSSQL\DATA\...\Reporting Database.txt(40,0).Net SqlClient Data Provider: Msg 1802, Level 16, State 4, Line 1 CREATE DATABASE failed. Some file names listed could not be created. Check related errors."

This can occur when the Recovery Manager Report Viewer, or Recovery Manager has been uninstalled by a user who does not have sufficient rights within MS SQL to remove the database.  The database remains within the MS SQL program folders.  When the user attempts to reinstall either the Report Viewer a complete install of Recovery Manager, the database cannot be created as it already exists.

Check the MS SQL program folders for an existing database and delete the file before attempting to reinstall the RMAD application or the Report Viewer.  This is applicable to MS SQL Express and MS SQL Standard/Enterprise installs.

It is possible that this issue occurs when Recovery Manager, or just the Report Viewer, is uninstalled by a user that does not have the appropriate rights on the SQL Server.
