The Spotlight Diagnostic Service is crashing consistently with the following errors in the Windows Application Event Viewer:
Stopping Diagnostic Server. out of memory StackOverflowError
serviceMain(): JVM terminated with OutOfMemoryError.
The host server is not out of memory. Restarting the Diagnostic Server service do not help.
STATUS: Waiting for fix in a future release of Spotlight on SQL Server Enterprise.
WORKAROUND:
1. Go to "Configure | Scheduling"
2. From the "Select template or connection to configure", choose the replication connection with the issue
3. Look for "Replication Publisher"
4. Un-check "Factory Settings" and "Collect data when Spotlight is not connected"
