"Failure sending mail" error received when using the Send To Me or Forward options.
Description

When attempting to send a message using the Send To Me or Forward options, the process stalled and a Failure sending mail. error was displayed on the bottom left of the Send Message screen.
The following error was observed in the Website.wlog:
ERROR WWW.SendMessage - {{55886ef2-febf-4942-929c-08ceac7ecad4}} Error has been handled
System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. ---> System.ObjectDisposedException: Cannot access a closed file.
Cause

This has been identified as Product Defect ID: TF00650383
Resolution
WORKAROUND

- Issue fixed in Archive Manager 5.3 Hotfix 4 (5.3.0.268)
- Please contact Quest Support for a copy of Archive Manager 5.3 Hotfix 4 (5.3.0.268)

Additional Information

The hotfix was released for Archive Manager 5.3 only. If working on an earlier Archive Manager version, it is required to first upgrade to Archive Manager 5.3 before applying the hotfix.
