Site Collections Grayed Out and "Inaccessible" -
Description
One or more site collections under a web application in the SharePoint Hierarchy are grayed-out and/or are labeled "Inaccessible".

Cause
The ControlPoint Service Account lacks one or both of the permissions below:- Full Control at the Web Application User Policy level
- db_owner to the content database hosting the site collection

Resolution
- Log in to the ControlPoint server of the farm on which the web application was created. Make sure to log in using the same account from which the installation was run.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\Metalogix\ControlPoint\ControlPoint Features and run xcClient.exe as an administrator.
- Select the Added a SharePoint Web Application or Content Database option.
- Click [Grant Access Rights].
