Error received prompting users to input a license key when attempting to optimize (tune) a statement from the Editor Window or launch the "SQL Optimizer" from the Tools menu of Toad for DB2:
"Quest SQL Optimizer for DB2 UDB Authentication"
Even though the Toad for DB2 key includes the SQL Tuning module, a separate license key is required to use the Quest SQL Optimizer for DB2 UDB utility.
If you own Toad for DB2 Xpert edition and have a key that includes the SQL Tuning option, please contact our Licensing Team at license@quest.com or (949) 754-8068 to request for a Quest SQL Optimizer for DB2 UDB license key.
