Define all of the Custom Schema Owner’s passwords or any other parameters that you will be passing as parameters that not already provided by STAT
From the menu: Maintenance -> General -> Pre/Post Migration Parameters
Use ‘User parameters’ Tab – to enter all of the User Parameters that you would like to pass to your scripts
Click on ‘New’

Note: Check the ‘Encrypted’ checkbox after you have entered the password if you have any.
Use ‘Server Parameters’ to enter parameters for Server if needed.

From the menu: Maintenance | General | Object Types | File Servers tab. After inserted the server information you
can enlarge the window or scroll to the right.
Enter the User, the Password and the port of your FTP/SFTP server.
Note: if you want execute Post-Migration steps via SSH, then you must have SFTP(not FTP) running on that server

From the menu: Maintenance | Domain Specific | Post Migration Steps, click ‘New’ to create the desired Post-Migration steps.
For Automatic Post Migration Steps, Uncheck Manual Check Box, Select Object Class and Object Type for the object type that the post-migration step should be triggered.

Once defined the above, you are ready to define your command that can be run on the SCA, locally from the client machine, or on the default file location.

Enter the command you would like to execute as post-migration step. You can use ‘Predefined Parameters Name’ as parameters by double clicking on the selected parameter. It will be inserted as %%...%%. Once, you are happy with the command, just click the Apply button.
In order to Run Postmigration Steps after the migration, make sure you give appropriate Security Classes the following rights:

In addition, you can allow the post migration step to be executed only on the selected servers.
From the Menu: User Options| User Maintenance, highlight the user and either double-click or click on Access Information button.

The post-migration is step is triggered by Migration. The post-migration step is displayed after the completion of the migration. The following screen will be displayed:

When the migration completed the Status will be ‘Wait for Post-Step’. Double-click on it it will open a new window where you can see where the steps will run, the command associated and the interpreter button that will translate the variables.

If Post-Migration step is executed you should be able to click on ‘View History’ button.
