Unable to uninstall Discovery Service -
Description
The following message is encountered when uninstalling the Discovery Service:
The specified service has been marked for deletion.
Also, the Metalogix ControlPoint Discovery Service is still listed in the Services console of the ControlPoint server.

Cause
The error message may be caused by several reasons. Below are some of them:
- The service being uninstalled is still running.
- The Services console is open.

Resolution
Perform any of the options below, then attempt to uninstall the Metalogix ControlPoint Discovery Service again:
- Open the Services console in the ControlPoint server, stop the Metalogix ControlPoint Discovery Service, then close the Services console.
- Make sure the Services console is not running locally and/or remotely from another logged in user's computer.
- Restart the ControlPoint server.
