Errors connecting to Exchange Organization. (4276280)

You recieve multiple errors when trying to connect to the Exchange Organization:

"Exhausted results while trying to find a system mailbox user, and could not locate any"

"Failed to log on to MAPI"

"The following error occurred during the processing of a given gathering: The system cannot find the path specified"

Service account does not have the Recipient Administrators Role assigned.

WORKAROUND 1:

Assign the required roles to the Service account using the Exchange Management Console

1. Open the Exchange Management Console
2. Right click Organization Configuration and select Add Exchange Administrator
3. Click Browse and select the MessageStats service account
4. Add the Exchange View-Only Administrators and Exchange Recipient Administrators roles, or just add the Exchange Organization Administrators role

WORKAROUND 2:

Add the MessageStats service account to the Active Directory groups that correspond to the required roles

1. Open the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC console
2. Locate the MessageStats service account
3. Right click the account and select Properties
4. Select the Member Of tab
5. Click Add
6. Add the Exchange View-Only Administrators and Exchange Recipient Administrators groups, or just add the Exchange Organization Administrators group
