After performing a repair of 8.5.2 unhandled exception error may start being prompted when launching the Active Directory Users & Computers snap-in in MMC.
MMC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it.
* Report this error to Microsoft, and then shut down MMC.
* Unload the snap-in and continue running
When you select the second option and click ok, you will receive the following:

WORKAROUND
1) Launch Regedit and go to:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Quest Software\Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory
And if on 64bit OS:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Quest Software\Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory
2) Delete the key called ForestEdition;
3) Now, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value and name it ForestEdition. The hexadecimal value for the new key should be:
For RMAD: “0”
For RMADFE: “1”
4) Relaunch and test the console.
STATUS
This is scheduled for resolution in the next release of the product (possibly 8.6).
