The target redirector address is placed on a target user once the user has been switched. This allows mail forwarded from the source to arrive in the target.
However, if the address being applied (for example, jsmith@target.local) already exists in the Exchange organization, QMM will add the address regardless, resulting in a duplicate entry which may cause NDRs.
This had been identified as a product defect.
Changing the target SMTP address template will resolve this issue.
This issue will be fixed in QMM 8.4.
