Java Manager, Failed to load Java object
Description

One is working with Java in Oracle.

Loading my first class from TOAD: Utilities/Java Manager and get an error “Failed to load java object”.
Resolution

Confirm that all of the Java components are installed when installing the Oracle client.

The Oracle Database 11g Release 2 for Microsoft Windows (32-bit) and Microsoft Windows (x64) can be downloaded here:

Additional Information

Confirm that the Java.exe path is near the front of the Windows System Path as well. Although, you can load java scripts, there will be a delay in posting to the Schema Browser without this declaration. (See link for details: http://java.com/en/download/help/path.xml )
