I want to know what CS3ClientTools is. It is installed together with QuestSQLOptimizer_Oracle.msi.
What is its function and is it needed at all? -
Resolution
- The CodeSite Dispatcher is used to create the traces files when creating the Support Bundle and when the Xpert Logging is enabled for SQL Tuning.
- The information is only dispatched to the Codesite when the Support Bundle and Xpert Logging are enabled; it sends the debugging information that is written from the program so will contain enough information to determine the source of the program.
- It is required only for Support Bundle and Xpert Logging. It is better not to uninstall it.
