Active Directory Discover wizard does not accept single label DNA name of AD domain

If DNS name of Active Directory domain is single label (e.g MYDOMAIN instead of MYDOMAIN.com) then the Discovery wizard throws below error message and can not proceed further:

Enter a Fully qualified domain name (e.g. MYDOMAIN.com).

Known defect referenced by Tracking ID AD-620

Defect ID AD-620 has been submitted to Development for a fix in a future release.

Please check the release notes of latest version of Active Directory cartridge to determine which bug fixes have been included in this release.

WORKAROUND:

Setup the agent manually instead of using Discovery wizard.
