For Spotlight versions 9.0 and prior, the Reporting and Trending gives error "ClientSideReporter has stopped working" (4274841)

For Spotlight versions 9.0 and prior, when running any reports from Reporting and Trending, the error "ClientSideReporter has stopped working" is thrown with the following details.

The client side reporter cannot run properly with SQL Server 2012 Client Tools installed.

Install a version of SQL Server Client Tools prior to 2012. This can run concurrently with SQL Server Client Tools 2012 and install Report Viewer as well.

If you are getting this error on SQL 2008 or 2005 it means that you didn't install any of the SQL client tools on your Diagnostic Server and client machine.
