User installed both versions of the DB2 client v8.2 and v9.1 onto his client machine. When he launched Spotlight on DB2 and tried to create a new connection he received the following error:
"QCC10000E - Unable to allocate environment handle for DBConnect."
Launch Spotlight for DB2 from the DB2 command line window:
Start | All Programs | IBM DB2 | Command Line Tools | Command Window. Set instance name and then issue the change directory (cd) command to change to the location of Spotlight.exe. Default folder is: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Spotlight\Console
Then open Spotlight for DB2 and connect errors will resolve.
